The self-portrait was the end of my
publicity series, and the beginning
of my Deckle-Edge statement: of
forces, visually, meeting or parting.
The self-portrait is the physical man-
ifestation of the spiritual 'I am.' And
each 'I am' is a unique force that meets
and parts, yet, the collective and uni-
versal awareness is such that 'I am' is
forever.
